The Witwatersrand University Choir arrived in Argentina on Wednesday the 20th of August 2003 some minutes before 4pm. The 31 singers and the Choir Director Dalene Hoogenhout were accompanied by a coordinator.

At the International Airport of Ezeiza, Buenos Aires, Argentina members of The Chase Educational Foundation and from the comunity of Pergamino were waiting the arrival of the group for their transfer to the city inside the province of Buenos Aires.

Once all the immigration papers were completed, the members of the Wits Choir started to walk towards the bus that would indicate the beginning of a long and wonderful trip through the provinces of Buenos Aires, Córdoba and Santa Fé.

Neither the trip from South Africa and the five hours difference could hide the expectations of each one of the members of the Wits Choir during the almost four hour trip to the city of Pergamino.

The adventure had begun...
