The Barbershop Choir arrived in Arrecífes around six in the afternoon.
The arrival was at the Municipality where the host families and local
authorities were waiting for them. As soon as they arrived they had a
very special reception with a Tango show and the decree declaring them
'Honored Guests' of the city. After this, the went home with their last
host families in Argentina.
The next morning the visited the Santa Teresita School where they sang
and signed autographs. They went to the agricultural school for lunch
while the local students performed some traditional Argentine music for
the foreign visitors. They also visited the Thyssen' Stables, Arrecífes
river and the most important places in town during the city tour.
The concert was at the local church. When the Barbershop arrived they
were surprised to see the amount of people there, which was filled to
overflowing, so much so that there were even people gathered outside the
church. The show was brilliant and the people gave them an overwhelming
ovation. The local Rotary Club invited the group for dinner and awarded
them with a Banner with all the signatures of the memebers of the club.
The following day the left for their last stop on tour: Buenos Aires -
