The Barbershop Choir and TCEF arrived by aircraft to the City of Mendoza in the evening hours of Thursday. On their arrival at the airport, the host families were waiting for each one of the students to take them home. But, before leaving the airport they sang a song thanking the people in advance for their hospitality. The Girls from the Ninos Cantores Choir of the City of Mendoza also sang them a welcome song in the airport.

The following day was an excursion day. They first went for a Live TV interview in Mendoza's down town area; then, they visited the park and after it went to 'Cerro de la Gloria' to have a panoramic view of the city. Later, it was time to go back to the School of Children Singers for lunch and to a rehearsal in their vast hall area where their performance was due to be held the following evening..

On Saturday they had a free morning with their host families and during the afternoon they visited a shopping mall where the had the chance to do some shopping. Later that afternoon they all met at the school to get ready for the show. The School of Children Singers' choir performed first, giving a spectacular performance of their group and school. All were mpresed by the quality and dedication of these marvellous young singers. Following the Barbershop Choir;s show, the host families and choir members all got together for a wonderful asado dinner and a traditional evening with their host families.

Sunday was for visiting the Aconcagua, leaving early in the morning and returning late at night. After four hours of traveling they arrived to the 'Bridge of the Inca' where they first had lunch in the local hotel situated at 4200m above sea level, and then, they sang at the chapel in the Andean village of the "Bridge of the Incas".

When they had finished with their performance and having had the experiece of shortness of breath during their performance, they went to the base of the Aconcagua at 4600 metres above sea level. They had a very informative meeting with the Ranger of the park, who gave explanations to them about the Aconcagua and surounding area.

Finally, the departure time arrived. Early on Monday morning, a very emotional and drawn out farewell took place in the front of the school. Many tears were shed not only by hosts but by the boys themselves.

Their departure from Mendoza was by coach to Hernando in the province of Córdoba. En route, we stopped for Lunch in the City of San Luis.
