The arrival to the city of Córdoba pointed the starting of the second half of the VUT Chori Tour Argentina 2004. And also was the first experience for our African visitors with Argentine host families.

Some minutes after seven in the afternoon the group arrived after a long day of traveling from Tucumán with the stop on the way in Ojo de Agua. There, the host families were waiting to meet the students and to take them home for dinner and rest.

The next day was specially for the students to spend some quality time with the host families talking and getting to know them.

At five in the afternoon the members of the choir met at Patio Olmos shopping mall to practice and warm up for the evening concert. That night, the Mighty Sounds of the Eaglets made a performance for around one thousand people in the audience; who gave them a standing ovation at the end of the show.

The next morning a city tour was organized for thouse brave enough to get up and be at the main square at ten in the morning. They visited the main historical buildings in town and had a nice time together.

That evening the concert took place at the Church of the Merced. There, the choir from the Vaal University of Technology made a wonderful performance taking the most out of the church´s acustics.

After the concert, TCEF invited the members of the choir and host families to enjoy some snacks and drinks together in Solar de Tejeda restaurant.

The next morning, once again, was time for departure. Betweeen hugs and tears the host families and students said goodbye to each other; and then they left, off to the next stop.
