The arrival to the city of Salta was at the campus of the Catholic University of Salta where some of the authorities were waiting to have lunch together with the members of the South African University. After walking around the main building of the University, a traditional lunch was served for everyone there: empanadas, tamales and humitas were part of the dish.

Then, was time to settle down at the military base, headquarters of the Mighty Sounds of the Eaglets for the next two nights. There Mr. Tejane, choir conductor, sent everyone for a siesta and to relax before the evening performance.

The concert took place at the very exclusive club 20th of February. There, the choir of the Vaal University of Technology celebrated the birthday of the Rector of the Catholic University of Salta singing the traditional song in nine different languages.

The following day started with a city tour in the down town area of the city of Salta. Some of the sights were the Cathedral, the chocolate bax, the main square and the two hundreds years old door.

After a relaxed lunch and afternoon at the military base; dinner took place at the 'Gauchos de Güemes Peña'. There some traditional meals, music and dancing made of this evening un unforgetable one.

The next day, after breakfast, it was time to get into a bus again towards the next stop on tour. In this opportunity they went through the Cafayate, sang two song at the anphitheatre, visited the Calchaquies Valley and a winery before arriving into Tucumán.
