After a days shopping and getting to walk around the city of Villa Maria, Province of Cordoba, Argentina, the cast and Crew of the 'My African Dream' TransOranje School for the Deaf Choir made their way to the La Madrileña Restaurant about a block away from the Presidente Hotel. Everyone was in for a surprise with the dinner that had been prepared for them. At the request of Staff members of the Touring Choir who had expressed their wish to eat a typical Argentine 'picada' (consisting of Offal, dried sausage, sauces, peanuts, chips, nuts, bread sticks, etc) which they had seen on so many occasions during their visit. We had previously made the arrangement for such a dinner to be prepared for them by the Management of the Restaurant La Madrileña. There were many exclamations of surprise and interest in the fare, and; - needless to say; - no-one managed to leave a plate empty at the end of the evening!
