After a long day of traveling the Pretoria Girls High School´s Hockey team arrived to Argentina and from Ezeiza International Airport they were transfered to their first stop on Tour. The community of Arrecífes was waiting for the team at the local municipality where the girls were distribuited amongst their anxiously awaiting host families.

The time spent there was well enjoyed and was filled with plenty of activities. The day after arrival they had an official welcome ceremony with the Mayor of Arrecífes where they were honored with a Tango and Traditional Folklore show. They also went on a city tour and had some ´mate at El Rincon farmhouse.

Playing hockey was one of the objectives of the tour so they took it seriously with some practices and matches against a selection of players from Arrecífes. And, of course, after the matches, the social time to make friends and good memories.

A visit to the radio station, newspaper, the wonderful hospitality of the host families and the time spent at the agricultural school were also components of this leg of the tour.
